Gaming that promotes pro-social skills!
What We Do
Here at Games, Goals, Growth we help kids develop social/emotional skills through our particular philosophy of social education:
"We play games, to create FLOW, to build skills"
We Play Games
Play is one of the most natural ways our brains learn and for people to build patterns of behavior that pave the way for future growth.

The play we do at Games, Goals, Growth is structured to provide opportunities to learn important skills in a fun way.

To Create FLOW
The goal with play is to create in each participant a mental state called FLOW. When your brain is in a state of FLOW you are primed to learn!
Some of the factors associated with FLOW are:
-
Strong concentration
-
Intrinsically rewarding activity
-
Immediate feedback
-
Complete focus
-
Having a balance between skill and challenge that makes a task doable.
To Build Skills
Through play that creates flow we work on building skills that helps each individual:

-
Become a better listener
-
Anticipate setbacks and growth
-
Build friendships
-
Become more socially observant
-
Develop empathy and consideration
-
Find create solutions to problems
-
Adapt to challenges and tolerate setbacks
